David Guggina serves as the executive vice president and chief eCommerce officer for Walmart U.S. In this role, he leads the company’s work to grow its online business by delivering exceptional customer and seller experiences across all online platforms and services.

He is responsible for Walmart’s third-party Marketplace as it expands to include trusted sellers from around the world. As part of the Marketplace expansion, Dave drives efforts to expand key seller services like Walmart Fulfilment Services, access to capital and lower shipping rates.

David previously served as executive vice president of supply chain operations for Walmart U.S. leading the company’s distribution centers, fulfillment centers and other areas in support of the Walmart fulfillment platform. He also led the strategic implementation of automation technology in our supply chain facilities.

Prior to joining Walmart in 2018, David worked at Amazon. Within their fulfillment operations, he held a breadth of leadership positions including in inbound, outbound, quality control and on subject matter expert and customer returns teams.

David is passionate about empowering people and redefining how teams innovate to deliver seamless solutions that enhance customer and associate experiences.

David is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Management.
